Wisdom, Fellowship, and Lifelong Faith

Our senior adults are a cherished and vital part of the Immanuel United Methodist Church family. We believe that spiritual growth and serving God’s kingdom never retire. This ministry provides a wonderful opportunity for those in their golden years to stay active, build deep and lasting friendships, and continue growing in God's grace. Whether you are looking for a daytime Bible study, a group to share a meal with, or ways to volunteer your time and wisdom to the next generation, you will find a warm, loving community waiting for you here.

We love to gather! Throughout the month, we offer a variety of events tailored specifically for our senior members. From daytime Bible studies, hymn sings, and monthly potluck luncheons in the Fellowship Hall to day trips exploring local attractions around Des Moines, there is always a great reason to get out and enjoy each other's company.
