Uncharted Territory

Our limits are self-imposed. "Go from your country, your people, your father's household to the land I will show you." Abraham goes with no map, no destination named, no arrival time. Just a direction and a promise. Abraham leaves what he knows behind and heads into uncharted territory. He is not a young man with nothing to lose. He is a settled man with everything to leave behind, and he goes anyway. After five weeks of learning what it means to be the called-out ones, the congregation is ready to move. Uncharted Territory is the most exciting invitation in scripture. We do not know exactly where we are going. We know who is calling. That is enough. Go Outside begins next week.
