Jesus Recognized At The Table

Two disciples walk away from Jerusalem, devastated after Jesus' crucifixion. A stranger joins them and explains the Scriptures, but they don't recognize him. When they reach Emmaus, he sits at the table with them, takes bread, blesses it, breaks it—and suddenly their eyes are opened. They knew him in the breaking of bread.
