Esther did not choose her moment. Her moment chose her. A young woman positioned in a palace, faced with a risk that could cost her everything, and a question from Mordecai that cuts to the heart of what it means to be called out: who knows whether you have come to your position for such a time as this? She could have stayed safe inside. She went outside anyway. On Pastor Arnette's final Sunday, this text becomes more than a sermon. It becomes testimony. A woman who has spent her ministry going outside what was comfortable, what was easy, what was safe, because she believed she was placed exactly where she was for exactly this.
