Find Rest

This week involves a short presentation from the Christian Motorcylce Association in leiu of a traditional sermon. “Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked to us on the road?” Luke 24:32. The Emmaus disciples are never fully named in Luke’s account. One is Cleopas, the other is simply one of them. And yet Jesus stays with them, opens the scriptures to them, breaks bread with them. Being unnamed does not mean being unknown. You do not have to be notable to be found.
