Everyone Gets To Pull Up A Chair

Lent 3: Jesus is at a Sabbath dinner when he heals a man and teaches about humility and hospitality: "When you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind." Then he tells the parable of the Great Banquet—where invited guests make excuses and refuse to come, so the master sends servants to bring in everyone the world rejects. God's table has room for everyone, but we have to stop making excuses and actually show up. Who are we inviting to our tables?
