Be Present

Lent 4: Martha frantically prepares the perfect meal while Mary sits at Jesus' feet and listens. When Martha complains, Jesus gently corrects her: "Martha, Martha, you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one. Mary has chosen what is better." Hospitality isn't about perfect food or flawless execution; it's about being present. Jesus values being WITH people over doing FOR people. As our church grows and life gets busier, can we choose the better part?
