The Beauty Of Growth

Growing.

A word that I always associate in the best ways. Growing
hair has always been a dream of mine. Growing flowers are beautiful. A growing church opens a new home for so many people and opportunities. A growing family is something I am so lucky to get to be experiencing again 8 years later.

Every year I decide something I want to grow in personally.
This year I made it easy on myself; I wanted to just grow my happiness and joy. The end goal I wanted to see myself grow in is to see the light and beauty of everything around me. I want to be genuinely happy within my life and self.

Since starting my position here at Immanuel I have now tried
to implement finding something I want to grow in. At first, I just wanted to get to know people deeply, but to be honest that was way to easy.  My growth goal now is to see how everyone else
can grow in and out of the church walls.

I want to see the person longing for a community to find
that here within the church. I would love to see someone find a passion whether in music, ministry, volunteering, or even just fellowshipping with other congregation members. For me to feel my growth, I want others to feel theirs.

Over the next little bit of time, you will probably have
conversations with me about how I can help you grow. As a church growing isn’t just about membership numbers, it is about how we engage and get involved.

Final thing I want to mention is back to my first paragraph,
I am so blessed and lucky to have a growing family again, so in February my family will be growing, and I will be out on a maternity leave. I am blessed with a church family who allows me to grow inside and outside the church walls.
