DISASTER RELIEF: UMCOR current special offerings: The typhoon in the Philippines has left behind so much destruction, shortages of food, water, and health care. (offering #982450). In the United States, severe tornadoes in Illinois and the eastern states caused much damage, too. (offering #901670). If you would like to contribute, it will take a long time to recover and your help is needed.
Sunday morning worship services are never cancelled.
If Pastor Gary can get to the church at all, the building will be open for worship. Obviously we invite everyone to use their personal best judgment whether you should attempt to come to worship or not. Please be safe!
We will close the church office during the week if it appears necessary for the safety and well-being of church staff, and there are not other activities taking place. You will find information about any possible office closings here at the website.
Occasionally it is necessary to cancel other church programming because of inclement weather. We will follow the Des Moines Public school cancellation policy.
When we do cancel a program, we will post an announcement here at the website if possible on the church calendar and in the announcements. The announcement will also be sent to metro broadcast television stations.
Your safety and well-being is utmost to us!
